It's is for infection control. The mask does NOTHING to prevent you smelling the various odors that can permeate an OR.
Electrocautery burns flesh, and burning human flesh smells nasty. It's nothing, though, compared to infarcted bowel. That will stink up an entire OR suite. When that happens, we put something better smelling on the inside of our masks (oil of wintergreen, or benzoin).Why during surgery doctors wears mask on their mouth?
as the 2 above said it is for the sake of not getting bacteria into the body of the patient. It is vital that this done also because the patients body is open and bacteria can get around ALOT quicker internally when you dont have your skin as a main deffence.

The doctors who are performing an operation wear a mask to prevent germs that they breathe out from entering the operating room.They don't want that to happen because if they enter an area opened for surgery,the wound has the possibility of becoming infected.
To keep everything as sterile as possible.
So the doctors don't breathe germs on the patient.
So spit or the un-expected sneeze doesn't
hurt the patient.

I need help on romani ranch on legend of zelda majoras mask?
i killed all the aliens on the first night at romani ranch. what i read on the computer is that i have to wait till 6:00 AM on the second day to help the lady deliver the milk to clock town. but i never saw the lady (romanis sister)! can i try again without killing all the aliens again, or do I have too? please answer fastI need help on romani ranch on legend of zelda majoras mask?

Yes, you have to kill all of the aliens again. You don't have to ride Epona though. Just stand in front of the barn and put on the Bunny Hood, it's much easier. If you want the challenge, then ride Epona but it's really easier to just stand there and shoot. Also, if you slowed down time, return it back to normal flow. It makes day come quicker, thus shortening the amount of time you have to hold them off. When you finish, go back to the ranch and go into the barn. Talk to Cremia (the older sister) and she'll tell you of the ride into town. She appears at 6:00 P.M. on the second day after you talk to her. When you ride into town, you have to hold off the Gorman Brothers disguised as Garo Ninjas. Just shoot at them to protect the milk. When you get to town, Cremia will give you the Romani's Mask. That'll allow you entrance into the Milk Bar at night where you can get the Chateau Romani which gives you infinite magic. You can also get the Troupe Leader's Mask in the Milk Bar by talking to Gorman in the Bar. Talk to Toto, the Zora and manager of the Indigo-gos and he'll ask you to play music. Change into each of the different forms (human, Deku, Goron, and Zora) and you'll play a medley of tunes and perform the Ballad of the Wind Fish. Gorman will give you the mask afterwards. So, to ride the wagon to town, defeat the aliens again and talk to Cremia inside the barn the next day before 6:00 P.M. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I beat the Snowhead temple, and I went to the goron tracks with the other gorons there. I didn't beat the race the first few times and I was starting to run out of time, so I saved and when back to the first day. I came back, blew up the entrance to the race track, but the gorons weren't there. I finished this game a few years ago on the Zelda Collector's Edition disc for GameCube.
I'm still stumped on what really happened to the moon after defeating Majora's Mask. It's hard to tell if it either breaks or disintegrates or if it got blown back out into space. I can't find anything from Nintendo about it, but I would think that it got sent back out into space. What do you think happened to it? It was perceived the US team was insinuating the air pollution was SO BAD that it would make them sick and ruin their chances at a medal.
[Cyclists as a group have a very large lung capacity and they are able to use oxygen more efficiently than other athletes. Unfortunately, you can imagine what that means, they breathe deeply and utilize more air... so they probably inhale more pollutants if that's the environment they're stuck competing in.]
Apparently they hurt the feelings/pride of the chinese olympic organizers. The US cyclists made china ';look'; bad by acting as if their air was polluted...

They were trying to breath clean air but while doing that they were unawhere that they were actually stating an insult to the country. I on the other don't really care because it does not affect me whatsoever and everyone just needs to get over it. The apology, I assume, was because the cyclists did not mean to send the message that they did not like the air in China or the Chinese people.

These 4 athletes chose to wear masks even though Olympic officials did not deem in necessary that day. Some people felt like the Olympians were making a statement about the mass production of pollution in China, which the Chinese government has invested much time and money to reduce.
Well I haven't been following anything to do with the Olympics and Bejing and I'm not going to...(sorry,matter of principle for me--my way of boycotting them!) but from what I've seen in fleeting news reports as I flip by newstations on TV, the newscasters all report with the city in the background and it's a haze of smog.
I wouldn't be surprised if all those people come back with damaged lungs from the experience. I sure hope everyone brought their own asthma puffers too--they are going to need them.

For dry skin, mix one egg yolk, one teaspoon honey and a teaspoon olive oil and some vitamin E oil if you have it. Smooth on and leave on for 15 min. , rinse in lukewarm water and pat dry. If your skin is a bit dry you can put a dab or two of either olive oil, or any other light oil, or plain crisco if you want something heavier, on your moist skin after washing or a mask and your face is set without the $$ some people spend for the same look.

2. Put the ground almonds into another small bowl. Add the melted honey and mix well, adding a little warm water to obtain a spreadable consistency.
3. Immediately apply the mask to a cleansed face and rest for ten to fifteen minutes.
4. Finally, wash off the mask with warm water and apply a toner and moisturizer.

Yogurt and Oatmeal Deep Cleansing Face Mask
Yogurt has been used for centuries for its health-giving properties. Here, live, organic yogurt is mixed with finely ground oatmeal and a little honey for an all-purpose face mask. This face mask is suited to all skin types, and is both cleansing and rejuvenating. If you have any doubt about which face mask to use, this is the one to go for.
1 tbsp finely ground oatmeal
1 tbsp live, organic yogurt
1 small tsp honey
1. Place the oatmeal in a bowl. Add the yogurt and mix to a spreadable consistency.
2. Warm the honey in a small glass bowl. Pour into the yogurt and oatmeal mixture and blend the ingredients thoroughly.
3. Immediately apply the yogurt and oatmeal mask to a cleansed face and rest for ten to fifteen minutes.

Rejuvenating, Exfoliating Body Scrub
This rejuvenating treatment is based on a traditional Indian body scrub for brides. The bride is scrubbed all over with a traditional mixture of finely ground grains, fruit peels, spices, and oils, and then she is massaged with sweet-smelling oils. This is performed daily for ten days, so at the wedding she looks wonderful with smooth, sweet-smelling skin. Using this body scrub will leave you with glowing skin.
2 tbsp fine ground oatmeal
2 tbsp ground almonds
1 tsp dried, finely ground orange peel
1 tsp rosehip granules
5 drops jasmine
Enough warm water to moisten the mixture
1. Place all the dried ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
2. Add the jasmine and a little warm water to make a fine, crumbly mixture. Don't use too much water or you will end up with a sticky mess.
3. Stand in the bathtub or on a towel spread over the floor. Take a small handful of the body scrub and scrub vigorously with circular movements all over the body. Be systematic; do the legs and arms first as they are easiest, and then do as much of the rest of your body as you can reach.
4. The scrub dries quickly, and most of it will fall off your body. When you have finished, use a soft body brush to brush off any leftover crumbs.
Honey and Oatmeal Face Mask
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon honey
instant oatmeal enough to make a paste
Mix all the above ingredients together with enough of the instant oatmeal to make a good paste consistency. Smooth this blend all over your face and neck. Leave on the face for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a soft towel.
