I have had my first boo boo on my car, I scratch the bumper of the car (plastic but with the same finish as the rest of the car) against a brick wall.
It has scratched into the paint work a bit, is there anything I can do to reduce the appearance of the mark??
My car is black metalic colour if that helpsScratch on my car, any tips on how to fix or mask it??

Try a product called Colour Cut. This is a lot of hard work, rubbing back the paintwork until smooth. If this does not do the trick, get hold of another product which also cuts back the paint but is a bit rougher. [Sorry, don't have a name for this] it comes in a can about twice size of boot polish - it's a mild abrasive, works]. Try and get a can of spray paint which matches your car. You should be able to find which paint and the paint code number probably in your car's handbook. When you've rubbed back the scratched paintwork as much as you can, try then with a light spray of the paint. It's bloody hard work.
Use a child's wax crayon...black if you can or very dark blue.
sand, prime and paint . . if the car is stored uncovered or is old then a professional will have to match the paint to the cars current color because paint will fade if the car is stored uncovered or is an older car.
if the scratch is not to deep you can try t-cut this will remove a light scratch
Get a smart repairer to do it for about 拢100 good as new
My daughter's car has a very long scratch. I'm going to try to repair it by applying a matching touch up paint followed by rubbing compound to smooth the transition with the repair.
I use Blue Coral Metal Polish. It is a chemical polish, so use it sparingly, and make sure that you rise all the residue off of your car, or it will continue to remove your paint. I used this on my motorcycle, when my brother hit a piece of debris on the interstate. I removed the scratches from the frame and paint. The estimate for repair was over $1000.00. Be careful With it.....
Dont bother with the halford scratch repair rubbish. ABSOLUTLY NONE OF THEY WORK.. T CUT ETC.. ALL COMPLETELY USELESS. Go to a body shop.. they will mop it out, they have the propper stuff.. All the prducts sole to normal peeps are just marketting ploys to get you to part with your money
Rub with WD-40
You could try T-Cut. Any Halfords or garage should stock it.
Smash the rest of the car into the brick wall at 100mph. Then the rest of the car will match your boo boo.
I am so upset that you scratched your bumper (NOT!!!).
touch-up paint might work if it's a deep scratch. If its just a small scratch though - you can usually buff it out to where you won't notice it at all.
