What is the best thing to wash a cpap mask with?

what soap should I use , and how often should I do it.? Besides cleaning it down every dayWhat is the best thing to wash a cpap mask with?
Usually in chemists they have the hospital grade anti bacterial soaps - You could try that. When I was on oxygen at home I had nasal prongs and they said to just wash them out with hot soapy water once a week, it does help the longevity of them as they are expensive to replace - You could try that. I wouldn't suggest putting them in a dishwasher though as they will melt because of the hot temperature in the dish washerWhat is the best thing to wash a cpap mask with?
clean it the way the instructions say.....it is not a permanent part....they are meant to be disposable. I can understand that the cost may what you to make the most of what you have. Mild anti-bacterial soap, or wiping down with alcohol, and then wiping down with a plain moist cloth.
I bought this mask cleaner from http://www.cpap-supply.com, it is called Citrus II Mask Cleaner - Wipes. Check it out, it's not expensive and it will really get your mark clean.
soap and water, any hand soap is okay as long as it doesn't have perfume in it that you react to. Daily is fine. Make sure it's completely dry before you put it on again.
Any soap and water on a washcloth, then dry it. It shouldn't need to be done more than daily.
