It's is for infection control. The mask does NOTHING to prevent you smelling the various odors that can permeate an OR.





Electrocautery burns flesh, and burning human flesh smells nasty. It's nothing, though, compared to infarcted bowel. That will stink up an entire OR suite. When that happens, we put something better smelling on the inside of our masks (oil of wintergreen, or benzoin).Why during surgery doctors wears mask on their mouth?
as the 2 above said it is for the sake of not getting bacteria into the body of the patient. It is vital that this done also because the patients body is open and bacteria can get around ALOT quicker internally when you dont have your skin as a main deffence.

Yes, you have to kill all of the aliens again. You don't have to ride Epona though. Just stand in front of the barn and put on the Bunny Hood, it's much easier. If you want the challenge, then ride Epona but it's really easier to just stand there and shoot. Also, if you slowed down time, return it back to normal flow. It makes day come quicker, thus shortening the amount of time you have to hold them off. When you finish, go back to the ranch and go into the barn. Talk to Cremia (the older sister) and she'll tell you of the ride into town. She appears at 6:00 P.M. on the second day after you talk to her. When you ride into town, you have to hold off the Gorman Brothers disguised as Garo Ninjas. Just shoot at them to protect the milk. When you get to town, Cremia will give you the Romani's Mask. That'll allow you entrance into the Milk Bar at night where you can get the Chateau Romani which gives you infinite magic. You can also get the Troupe Leader's Mask in the Milk Bar by talking to Gorman in the Bar. Talk to Toto, the Zora and manager of the Indigo-gos and he'll ask you to play music. Change into each of the different forms (human, Deku, Goron, and Zora) and you'll play a medley of tunes and perform the Ballad of the Wind Fish. Gorman will give you the mask afterwards. So, to ride the wagon to town, defeat the aliens again and talk to Cremia inside the barn the next day before 6:00 P.M. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Actually, it's sometime in the afternoon on the second day. She appears near the barn in a covered wagon. Whatever walkthrough told you that it's 6:00 AM is wrong.

I beat the Snowhead temple, and I went to the goron tracks with the other gorons there. I didn't beat the race the first few times and I was starting to run out of time, so I saved and when back to the first day. I came back, blew up the entrance to the race track, but the gorons weren't there. No, the only way to get gold dust is by winning the race. You can warp from the beginning of Snowhead temple to the boss room so you can beat Goht quickly, then go back to the racetrack. Be advised that you need to have already updated to the razor sword if you want to upgrade to the strongest sword.Is there a way I can still get the gold dust in The Legend Of Zelda:Majora's mask?
What you do is you go to the first day. Then you beat goht (The goat boss at snowhead, im not sure about spelling) Then you blow up the race track enterence. Then you race for the gold dust.





You just do all of this in the first day, if you want the sword maker to make the good sword. (I forgot the name of it, but it was golden)





Note: When you beat bosses, and you go back in time, you have to re-beat them, and i think that was your problem.

It was perceived the US team was insinuating the air pollution was SO BAD that it would make them sick and ruin their chances at a medal.





[Cyclists as a group have a very large lung capacity and they are able to use oxygen more efficiently than other athletes. Unfortunately, you can imagine what that means, they breathe deeply and utilize more air... so they probably inhale more pollutants if that's the environment they're stuck competing in.]

They were trying to breath clean air but while doing that they were unawhere that they were actually stating an insult to the country. I on the other don't really care because it does not affect me whatsoever and everyone just needs to get over it. I didn't see this in the news but I believe that some probably thought that the masks were rude because they meant to imply that the the air in China is bad or that they did not like the Chinese. The apology, I assume, was because the cyclists did not mean to send the message that they did not like the air in China or the Chinese people.
The chronic pollution in China is a large concern for many athletes since the pollution can cause respiratory problems. These 4 athletes chose to wear masks even though Olympic officials did not deem in necessary that day. Some people felt like the Olympians were making a statement about the mass production of pollution in China, which the Chinese government has invested much time and money to reduce.
Well I haven't been following anything to do with the Olympics and Bejing and I'm not going to...(sorry,matter of principle for me--my way of boycotting them!) but from what I've seen in fleeting news reports as I flip by newstations on TV, the newscasters all report with the city in the background and it's a haze of smog.





I wouldn't be surprised if all those people come back with damaged lungs from the experience. I sure hope everyone brought their own asthma puffers too--they are going to need them.

Three Choices

If your skin is a bit dry you can put a dab or two of either olive oil, or any other light oil, or plain crisco if you want something heavier, on your moist skin after washing or a mask and your face is set without the $$ some people spend for the same look.

Its not ibuprofen ... its regular plain uncoated aspirin. I've used it for years, and its a great exfoliater and helps get rid of pimples (aspirin has salycylic acid in it - the same stuff in pimple medications)

My first favorite was Mil Mascaras, the man of 1000 masks. I loved that guy; he wrestled a different style than pretty much everybody he faced (in the States). He had one mask that was white with a black spiral on it that covered the face part of the mask; that was my favorite of his.





Then Jushin Liger, my favorite masked wrestler of all-time. My favorite Liger mask is the one with the three horns.

You can use basic ingredients found around the house to make your own simple, hydrating masks. If you have oily or acne prone skin, mud or clay-based masks are great for balancing out your skin. Dry skin will benefit from hydrating masks made from glycerin, honey and oils. Ginseng or green tea masks are great for soothing skin.

Here's something I found:


Dry Skin:


1/2 banana


2 TBSP sunflower oil





1. Mash half a banana with sunflower oil and blend until mixture is smooth.


2. Apply the mixture to your clean, dry face and leave for 20 minutes. Be careful to not get any in your eyes.


3. Rinse face pat dry with soft towel.





Normal Skin:


3 apricots


1. Mash apricots until mixture is smooth.


2. Apply mixture to clean dry face.


3. Leave for 20 minutes.


4. Rinse face and pat dry with soft towel.





Oily Skin:


1 uncooked egg





1.Beat one egg white smooth.


2. Apply mixture to clean, dry skin, concentrating on oily parts of your face.


3. Leave for 20 minutes.


4. Rinse face and pat dry with a soft towel.

Gotta say, one of my favorites is egg white with some table salt. The salt is a scrub, so after the egg white dries you moisten with a bit of water and then scrub the mask off. I think it's nice and light, and does a nice 'polishing', and the salt is a bit drying. And cheap! And no funny smells that you might not want on your face.





I agree, I don't see the reason to spend the money--and if you do it a lot you can make a lovely zabaglione with the egg yolks!

1 packet dry yeast, 3 drops lemon juice, 2 tsps water

Try this... crack an egg and mix the clear/white stuff (not the yellow yolk) with some malassas, a smashed banana, oatmeal cooked in warm milk, and a tiny tiny bit of apple cider vinegar. It won't smell great, but it works wonders!








Or just use the egg white by itself!





The banana, oatmeal and milk, are very soothing for skin, the ACV and the egg are good for balancing PH and minimizing pores.





Drink lots of water along with it and keep it on for about 20-30 mins tops.

The FIO2 is 28%. The home set up... does it have a water canister to provide humidification? If it does, make sure that there is adequate water in there. If the water level is too low, the humidity output can be low. If there is enough water, check the tubing to make sure that there is not a leak in it. If all of that checks out ok. Hold the trach mask up to a light and see if you can see any mist coming out of it. 2 liters of flow is pretty low so you may not see much mist coming out, but as long as you see something coming out then that should be ok.What is the fi02 on 2liters oxygen for a trach mask?

less is more. Don't wash your face in the morning, just splash it with water. NIghtime use a good cleanser that is also gentle to remove makeup, dirt and oil. I like MaryKay Timewise cleanser - it is a 3 in 1 and gentle, since you like to exfoliate this might be a good choice for you. It is a cleanser, exfoilater and toner in one. Then use a eyecream and a good nightime moisturizer, a serum before the moistuzer is also a good anitaging preventative Oil of olay makes a great serum. Always us a moisturizer with spf in the morning along with your eyecream. As for face masks-- waste really, if you want something that feels amazing take a washcloth or handtowel, soak it in hot water, let it cool a little. lay down and set it on your face for 10 minutes, that feels amazing!
That depends on your skin and what issues you have with it. For me, I have sensitive skin that is prone to acne, and is on the combo side. I can't exfoliate often, no more than 3 times a week, or my skin starts drying out too much. And all my products need to be very gentle. The ones you use would be too much for my skin for sure.





Facial masks are not a necessity. Use one if you want, and no more than once a week.





You may want to try cutting down on the exfoliating because the one you are using is very rough. Your skin may benefit from a break.


As long as your tinted moisturizer has SPF, then you are fine. If not, then get an SPF to apply with it.


Also, moisturize at night.





Cleansing morning and night is important, as is the moisturizing, with every skin type. IF you want to exfoliate every other day, switch to something a LOT more gentle, then save the one you use now for once a week.
If you already have great skin, then I wouldn't suggest putting alot of product on your skin daily. I had FLAWLESS skin last year and over the summer I used atleast 10 different cleansers/toners over the weeks. My skin was not as I expected it to be. It is good to have a routine, but don't get too carried away like I did. Good luck and I hope I helped a bit. :)

I use a cpap machine which has made a tremendous difference in my personal health. Sleep apnea is often in part caused by excess weight but, sleep apnea also causes slowed metabolism which causes additional weight gain. Thus a vicious cycle begins...you gain more weight which in turn makes the sleep apnea worse. Since using my cpap, I have lost 45 pounds and no longer drag through my days. My skin is better and I no longer have horrendous headaches. In stead of a mask though, I use what looks like nasal cannula for oxygen that has been fed steriods. It's called a nasal pillow and is not nearly as claustrophobic feeling as the mask. Best of luck to you and your wife.Anybody use a mask at night for sleep apnea?
Yes I have OSA too and I use the mask. At first its uncomfortable but after a while you get use to it. Depending on the type (cost factor) of mask, it may cause scarring on the bridge of the nose. Just place a small folded piece of tissue paper over your bridge and it will cushion the mask friction. YES, please use it cos my apnea came down from 54 to 1.2 then now 0.5 It works.Doctors tell me that 60% of stroke patient can be attributed to OSA without the patient realising it.
I do actually use one. It is very helpful. It takes a little getting used to but the benefit is wonderful. The cpap machine blows a gentle stream of air in through the nose to keep the airway open at night. What happens is the throat relaxes so much during sleep that it cuts off the airway. When the body senses oxygen deprivation then you get that blast of snore that wakes you up. The cpap mask keeps the airway open.

Yes, my mum has one. It is very reassuring for the whole family as we know that it helps her to keep breathing while she is asleep. When mum went to hospital for a sleep study, they recorded that she stopped breathing 45 times in the space of an hour - very scary! I briefly tried on a CPAP during a sleep study but didn't use it and didn't get prescribed one (yet). The machines are not silent, they are noisier than most nighttime background noise. I would be afraid that I'd shell out for the CPAP and then the noise of the machine would keep my gf up anyway.

i agree with both answers above my partner and i were seeing a counsellor because we were fighting all the time. Then after about 5 months as i couldn't sleep even when i was tired or slept all the time, cried for no reason and screamed about anything amongst everything else so i went to the doctor who said i had depression.


But what i learned from all this is its not my fault and its okay to ask for help. And though you can handle it now if it is depression trust me it wont last being able to mask it i tried everything before i went to the doctor thinking I'm just stressed. So go to the doctor they will listen and if they don't make them that's the hardest thing sitting there and telling them whats wrong when your trying to hide it. You really should speak with your doctor about how you feel. They can help you sort things out, whether they refer you for counseling or prescribe some medication. You have nothing to be ashamed of. I'm sure you love your kids, but being a mom is a hard job and some days just feel like they will never end. You need a good support system too. People that care about you and are willing to lend a helping hand. Take some time for yourself. I know I plan on going back to school this fall to be a nurse. I'm sure I'll start off with just a couple of classes to get back in that groove, but planning this has really shifted my mood. I've been a stay at home mom for 13 years and I have 4 kids. As long as any bird is HANDFED it should be reasonably friendly. I raised Lovebirds for years and some of my sweetest babies were Masks. Try to find a local breeder via classifieds in newspaper or online. Play with and interact with the baby bird before you decide to purchase it.

With most artwork you're able to drill holes and attach some wire hanging screw to it and then pull the wire threw, twist it and you're ready to hang. But these masks are metal and I'm not able to drill holes. How can I wire the back of these masks to hang. I've got the wire. Should I use caulking or cement to glue the ends of the wire to both sides of the mask? What should I use? you can easily drill holes in then with a very small bit that is made for metal just ask the guy at ace hardware or hobby lobby or whatever for a very small diameter METAL bite not one for plastic or wood. start the hole on the metal with a nail and hammer just a nice little tap not enough to ruin the metal with a bulge it makes a bit of a pin hold then use that hole to hold the bit in place and you are there.I'm interested in wiring the back of a mask that is about 2 pounds.?

Pilots have in-demand regulator type masks and goggles. They can switch them to 100% oxyge so that no cabin air gets into them. A separate oxygen line provides slight positive pressure on the goggles to clear them of smoke and keep them clear.





The only thing the cabin oxygen system will do is protect you from a decrease in pressure. They will not protect you against smoke or fumes.





One thing that the airlines could do (but don't), is provide you with an EPOS hood. An EPOS hood completely covers your head and has its own oxygen generating system. This would protect you against smoke or fumes, and would drastically increase your chances of survival.

Previous answer correct, how ever there are two types or oxygen systems available on aircraft. The drop down system supplies air from a oxygen bottle connected to a common manifold. On Douglas and newer generation aircraft, an oxygen generator is used( a burning candle whose byproduct of combustion is oxygen).
Drop down masks use a high pressure oxygen bottle in the belly of the plane. When you pull the mask down, a pin is pulled and starts the oxygen flow, but it is mixed with air. This is a continuous flow system.





Newer drop down masks use an oxygen generator. When you pull the mask, a pin is pulled and activates the oxygen generator which is continuous flow (until it stops).





Dilluter demand uses a mask and oxygen bottle, but only supplies oxygen when you breathe in and mixes it with air, although you can choose to have 100% oxygen.





Pressure demand forces oxygen under pressure into your lung and is required for very high altitudes. You have to exert force to breathe out with this system.

ha, ha, I have a handyman business with my husband but we don't have health insurance. A few years ago I decided to go work at a hospital for health insurance. We have to wear gloves %26amp; if someone had something highly contagious in the room we had to clean, we put on a mask %26amp; a paper gown...it was insane. You should see how many gowns are used in intensive care....I thought I must be an idiot if I think these paper products are going to prevent anything. So seeing your question brought back the memories of how crazy it was at the hospital. NO, a mask is not going to do anything except make you sweat %26amp; feel uncomfortable. No it will not...





I heard on the ITV news today that covering your face with a mask is actually worse : as there are gaps in side of the mask..so air is still escaping..it also makes your mouth to get sweaty and you then wipe your face and touch something else...





But i suppose if people wanna think they are reducing the risk let them..lolz...
