Can a black masked lovebird be as tame as a peach faced?

i am thinking about getting a black masked lovebird but i heard that they are almost impossible to tame. Can a black masked lovebird be as tame as a peach faced?
As long as any bird is HANDFED it should be reasonably friendly. I raised Lovebirds for years and some of my sweetest babies were Masks. Try to find a local breeder via classifieds in newspaper or online. Play with and interact with the baby bird before you decide to purchase it.

Adult lovebirds that were not consistently held and played with as they grew up are normally very flighty and scared of people. It is a lot harder to tame an adult lovebird period, type of Lovebird is not an issue. Can a black masked lovebird be as tame as a peach faced?
where did u hear that from?!?when u go to the pet store to get a black masked lovebird ask for tamed ones.its ok if their hand fed.and spend a lot of time with it.
it doesnt matter the color of the lovebirds. most lovebirds at older age is almost impossible to tame. if you go to a pet store and buy a baby lovebird of any color they will probably think of you as their mother if you handfeed them.
