What happened to the moon at the end of Majora's Mask? ?

I finished this game a few years ago on the Zelda Collector's Edition disc for GameCube.





I'm still stumped on what really happened to the moon after defeating Majora's Mask. It's hard to tell if it either breaks or disintegrates or if it got blown back out into space. I can't find anything from Nintendo about it, but I would think that it got sent back out into space. What do you think happened to it? wait, If i recall correctly, didn't the giant dudes throw/push it back up into the space/sky??? Try looking up a video of Majora's mask ending on youtube
broke the curse on the moon so it returned to normal and went back into space
