we have a lot at my church.Do some of the members at your church act ';holier than thou'; to mask their own inequities?
SURE, I THINK THATS NATURAL. NO ONE WANTS TO LOOK AT THEIR OWN PROBLEMS, BUT POINT BLAME AT OTHERS. ITS NOT RIGHT, BUT IT DOES HAPPEN EVERYWHEREDo some of the members at your church act ';holier than thou'; to mask their own inequities?
You are going to have that in any and every church setting. They have their own agendas and not that of God. I try to watch those people .. some things they say and do I may agree with but when it it overly abundant I still try to watch and make sure that I don't become that way as I get older.
Not really, people at my church are pretty friendly. You get the moody ones, or the ladies that glare at anyone they don't recognise, but nobody really acts 'holier than thou' that I've noticed.
I don't notice that as much as I notice people just not being very friendly often times, or acting very stiff. If a person can't feel the love at church of all places, dear Lord in Heaven, where can we feel loved?
Sure they do.
