How do you use a mud mask?

Am I supposed to:


a) wash my face first, use the mask, then wash my face again





or





b) put the mask on first, then wash my face

you wash your face first then apply the mask, normally sits for about 10-15 min read the directions on package. when done rinse off with lukewarm water adn finish with your toner/moisturizer.How do you use a mud mask?
